Save a Life! Program
Our "Save a Life!" (¡Salva una vida!) classes are engaging, hands-on and fun. Parents, educators, hotel and restaurant workers, bus drivers, nurses aides, civil servants and older teens learn how to prevent choking and do CPR on infants and adults. 'Stopping bleeding' was added to our class content in 2017.
After successfully teaching 180 classes to more than 2100 participants, our instructors can skillfully engage any group. We know of at least 18 lives that have been saved by former class participants.
We are grateful to the Oxford-León Association and Trust for grants in
2013 and 2014 that help fund our "Save a Life!" program.
