With 200 donated toothbrushes, demonstration big teeth and coloring books, Project Opportunity launches its 9th year of the dental program. Tooth decay and oral infections are common - our aim is prevention.
Project Opportunity helps the children have fun brushing every day
at preschool and at home. Prevention of oral infection and decay
improves child health and well-being.

Dental Program
Mothers are hired and trained each year to help
100 preschoolers learn to brush. These same mothers also teach the children's parents and encourage brushing at home.
In addition, these mother-helpers are invited to participate in our job skill training program and receive recommendations to use for future job applications.
